Q: Are Echelon owners required to be members of the golf club?

A: No, there is no requirement to be a member of the golf club.

Q: What is the HOA annual assessment amount?

A: For 2018 it is $2,000. More than half of the assessment is going to reserves for future capital improvements in the community.

Q: When is the annual assessment due?

A: The annual assessment is billed on January 1 and due on January 31.  If payment is not received by March 2nd a late fee of $200 will be charged along with interest.  Delinquent accounts will be sent to the association's legal counsel on March 3rd.


Q: Is there a transfer fee and/or capital contribution fee when purchasing property in Echelon?

A: There is no transfer fee or cost for sending a closing letter. There is a capital contribution fee due upon transfer of any property. The fee for resale homes is $1,000 and the fee for homesites is $250.  If a new home is built on a homesite an additional $750 capital contribution fee is charged upon issuance of the certificate of occupancy (CO).

Q: Is the clubhouse open to the public?

A: Yes, the golf clubhouse is open to the public.  It is open daily for lunch and open on Thursday and Friday nights for dinner.  On top of exceptional farm to table food, the clubhouse has a full service bar featuring delicious cocktails and several craft beers on tap.  For more information on the clubhouse or golf club membership please contact the golf club directly or visit www.echelongolf.com.


Q: What amenities does the community have?

A: The HOA doesn’t currently own any amenities.  The tennis courts you see in the community are owned by the golf club.

Q: What is the relationship between the golf club and the HOA?

A: The golf club is a privately held business operating within the gates of our community. The HOA is a non-profit association controlled by the homeowners. Both entities work in harmony to support each other in achieving their respective visions.
